National Freelancers Day is Going Virtual
On Thursday 18th June, the UK’s biggest freelancing event is back again and this year, it’s going virtual.
What is National Freelancers Day?
IPSE’s annual National Freelancers Day is an event designed to support the UK’s self-employed workforce, to provide an opportunity to network with other contractors and freelancers and to show that you’re not alone. The aim is to celebrate and support the self-employed and make you feel as connected to your community as possible, whether that’s in person or virtually from the comfort of your home office.
What to expect on the day?
The impact of coronavirus is hard to ignore. To recognise this and support the flexible workforce, this year’s event is focused on advice and support in navigating your business through the coronavirus pandemic. To make sure you have the advice and information you need on all different aspects of freelancing, the day’s webinars and workshops will focus on one of four core themes: Wellbeing, Winning Work, Finance, and Taking Charge.
As always, SJD Accountancy will be attending with our experts James Foster and Jo Harris hosting sessions. One of their key presentations will be ‘The Good Work Plan and the evolving world of work’ in which they bring their expertise to bear on organising your business and preparing it for the challenges ahead. If you’re not yet familiar with their insight and knowledge (and even if you are), this is one session you definitely shouldn’t miss.
