SJD Accountancy launches new Insolvency Practice
SJD Accountancy is proud to announce their partnership with Philip Beck, a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, to create a new division SJD Insolvency Services Limited.
SJD Insolvency Services Limited, helps limited company contractors who wish to close their limited company through Members Voluntary Liquidation (MVL), which is one of the options to close down a limited company tax efficiently with funds in excess of £25,000.
This new service will enable SJD to support their clients from the start to the end of their journey as a limited company contractor if they do decide to close their company through an MVL.
The new division was set up to respond to new sections of the Corporation Tax Act 2010 that were introduced in March 2012, which put a £25,000 limit for capital treatment of shareholder distributions on closing down the company without a liquidation.
Philip Beck has over 15 years’ experience as an Insolvency Practitioner and will be able offer invaluable knowledge to contractors who are considering of closing down their company through a Members Voluntary Liquidation.
Commenting on the partnership, SJD Accountancy’s Managing Director Simon Dolan, said ‘Philip’s extensive knowledge, customer service focus and experience with MVLs will be a great asset to SJD Accountancy’s clients and non-clients alike’.
